The Dragon’s Weaves

The Dragon ‘s Weaves at the International Museum of Ancient Carpets in Brescia is an exhibition dedicated to Chinese textile art, showcasing antique carpets rich in symbolic motifs , imperial dragons , and floral decorations typical of the Ming and Qing dynasties . The exhibition offers an immersive journey through Chinese history and culture , exploring the traditions, colors , and symbols that connect art and power.

As a workshop, we had the privilege of contributing to the exhibition by creating the decorative materials , designed to enhance every detail and enhance the visitor experience . Our work complemented the exhibited works , integrating technique and creativity to create an atmosphere consistent with the allure of the ancient artifacts .

Thanks to this collaboration, visitors can fully immerse themselves in the visual and cultural richness of the exhibition, discovering stories, symbols , and artistic details that might otherwise go unnoticed.
